We spent a memorable week at the Mas Des Carassins in
St. Remy en Provence ..... it was wonderful!!!
Our host, Pierre, was charming and unflappable!!!! And I truly tested him ....... I had invited a group of 36 friends and family for a long weekend to celebrate CNC's 50th birthday and it was beyond magical!!!!! I was able to plan everything from NYC in detail, with Pierre's expert help and FEDEX!!!!! We had 3 birthday dinners, each for 36, with great food, wine, and entertainment ........ particularly a magician that had everyone entranced!!!!! In addition we went to Gorde, to another mas owned by Pierre and had a picnic!!!!!
And I now know ....... food is the primary focus during a trip to Provence!!!! In our case restaurants, bistros, markets, chocolate shops, patisseries, fromageries, boulangeries, fish stores, wine shops, and wineries provided tons of entertainment!!!
I can honestly say that everyone had a fabulous time ......... and
each meal was "accessorated" to the hilt!!!!!!!
