created by master glass artist
at last week's

These spectacular "light objects,"
with their lyrical bronze branches
and organic glass globes,
are stunning!!!

English designer
created "Meltdown,"
a series of chairs in a variety of
"non-traditional" furniture materials including .....
plumbing tubes, polypropylene rope, nylon cable ties,
crumpled polypropylene sheets, plastic rugs,
& polyethylene sheets.

He presses a heated metal chair-shaped former
into a stack of any of these materials .....
the materials melt as they come into contact with
the heated former ......
leaving the irregular seat shapes.

In the case of the bronze chair,
he uses a "lost-plastic" casting technique ...
a combination of the melting materials & a mold technique.

I adored "meltdown" collection when I saw it at
exhibited by Industry Gallery ......
& I loved it last week at Design Days Dubai,
where it was exhibited by Brussels Designart Dealer

The chairs are an editions of 8 ...
except my favorite the multi color "rug chair,"
which is unique!!!

is currently presenting,
at the gallery & at Design Days Dubai,
an exhibition of 15 unique LED light works titled
"Luciferase"
by Spanish designer

These spectacular light works are
"a set of living organisms capable of surprising us
by their colours, textures and demeanor."

The "exterior skins" of the lamps are epoxy resin,
mixed with different colored sands ...
sometimes covered with plaster or metal dust.

The contrasting translucent glowing interiors
are epoxy,
mixed with colored pigments.

The giant standing lamp at the top
also includes the addition of plastic filaments.

I adore these "light sculptures"!!!

And I think Carbonell's description of them as
"light-producing creatures"
is absolutely accurate!!!

And we "accessorator's"

but now that I've found it at
I have added it to my international
design shopping list!!!

I adored the rope furniture from French designer
Using this "ordinary" material in an innovative
& exceptional way ....
results in these exciting contemporary works.

I love the idea that "non-precious" material
has created "precious design"!!!
DIVINE!!!

Thanks again "London Design Spy",
for these great images of
"Boy On A Rocking Horse".

I love the work of this artistic duo,
whom I had the pleasure of meeting at
where they staged the first performance
their newest theatrical work
"Happy Days In The Art World,"
as well as installing an extraordinary collection
of other pieces for the opening night party!!!

Set in London's Trafalgar Square,  the
is one of the most important art prizes in the world!!!!

This bronze sculpture is,
as the English say  ......
"jolly good work"!!!!

NYC design gallery
is currently showing the first solo exhibition of
unique furniture & objects
created by Korean artist/architect

And last week, these stunning pieces from the collection,
were featured at The Armory Show ....
creating an innovative & interesting seating area
where collectors could rest & relax, "collect" their thoughts
& review their purchases!!!

The unusual combination of materials ....
stack-laminated wood, steel, concrete & glazed ceramic,
plus the architecturally graceful,
soft-edged sculptural shapes of the furniture
takes this collection over-the-topl!!!

I absolutely adored this spectacular furniture!!!
Imagine furniture plus ceramics .....
what more could I ask for!!!

My biggest problem today is .....
where to put the desk???

all I could see was this divine
piece of furniture!!!

It was created by Norwegian artist
who designed the fabric
& upholstered architect/designer
1933 "party lounge."

It is sublime & as gallery owner
"I knew you'd love it"!!!

She's absolutely right .....
 I did!!!!

My stunning "London Design Spy" sent me
these fabulous images!!!!

Turner Prize winning artist
has designed this outrageous dinning room for London's
and it opened 5 days ago!!!

This innovation "destination place" combines
divine art, design, food, drink & music.
Opened since 2002,
this "hip & happening brain-child"
of London restaurant genius "Momo" Mazouz
master French chef Pierre Gagnaire is
"the place to be seen in London"!!!

The addition of Creed's delightful
"living, breathing, rockin' enviornment,"
makes this an over-the-moon
"restaurant accessoration"!!!

I adore the zig-zag tiles floor
& the brightly colored graphic wall murals ....
but, I my very favorite thing is ....
that no two pieces of furniture
or tableware match!!!
Soooo Chic!!!!

And the other news is that ....
Chef Gagnaire's redesigned menu
is inspired by the decor!!!

Thank you "London Design Spy",
you are the best ....
this is the ultimate in "fabulosity"!!!

Do you think we can get a reservation???
