endlessly!!!!!
He finds the most amazing "accessorations"

I adore these cast iron antique
I found in several downtown NYC buildings
that were built in the early 1900's!!!
.
They look great & are still working!!!

They are truly divine "accessorations"
and I wonder if one could be
installed at my house!!!

If it can ....
I'll bet I have the only one
in East Hampton!!!

I adore chairs ....
& I am especially charmed
by these tiny chairs
holding up these enormous pieces
of furniture!!!

The furniture was created Brooklyn-based,
Israeli designer
as part of his exhibition at Milan's

"Ron Gilad's hybrid objects combine material wit
with aesthetic play;
they it on the fat, delicious line
between the abstract & the functional."

The exhibition was sublime .....
but these two pieces made me quiver .....
with laughter????

I adore Italian designer
"Moderni Fossili" collection!!!

These "contemporary fossils"
are created with recycled, found plastic objects
that are set into polyurethane foam.

After solidifying, the foam is cut
& used to create a variety of furniture,
including tables, lights, bookcases, & screens.

Available at Spazio Rossana Orlandi in Milan
Moss in New York City,
these pieces are ....
"innovative & exceptional accessorations"!!!

These divine porcelain "Owl Houses,"
created by internationally renown Chinese artist
handmade painted in traditional Chinese patterns,
are stunning!!!!

Probably the least political of WeiWei's work ....
they were created for San Francisco's
by gallerist and philanthropist

I found them at Cheryl's eponymous
exhibition at NYC"s

They are absolutely divine .....
& would look spectacular "accessorating" my garden,
even though there are no screech owls in
East Hampton!!!

Last week, I stumbled upon the Oceanic Galleries
& they are fabulous!!!

The centerpiece of the Melanesian Gallery is the
ceiling of a ceremonial house
of the Kwoma people of New Guinea .....
& it is covered with the most incredible
I have ever seen!!!

Commissioned by the Museum,
in the early 1970's,
the ceiling is more than 80 feet long & 30 feet wide,
& is composed of 270 stunning paintings,
from 24 master Kwoma artists.

I highly recommend a trip to the museum!!!
These galleries are a "must-see" .....
& there are another zillion incredible things
in the museum
that are divine eye-candy!!!

Front Design

a Holland-based company that works between
avantgarde design & high tech industry,
has asked three world renown design stars
to re-design the lightbulb!!!!

Using low consumption LED technology,
have created two innovative &
extraordinary collection of lightbulbs ....
one for mass production & the other purely experimental,
produced in limited editions!!!

These are definitely "accessorator must-haves" ...
which are soon to arrive at my house!!!
